OLYMPIA — Dec. 3, 2024 — Washington Trucking Associations President & CEO Sheri Call has been named to the American Transportation Research Institute’s Research Advisory Committee (RAC). The committee includes a select group of industry stakeholders whose mission is to identify the trucking industry’s most critical research needs.

“This is a tremendous honor and a fantastic opportunity to participate in research that will be integral to our members and the trucking industry,” said Call. “I am proud to be a voice for Washington state and the trucking sector in research that will inform industry decisions for years to come.”  

The RAC is comprised of government officials, academics, professional truck drivers and trucking company executives and suppliers from a diverse cross-section of the industry, all who understand the importance of sound science to an industry as complex as the trucking industry. The RAC is charged with annually recommending a research agenda for the Institute.
