WTA’s Day with the Winners: Celebrating Excellence in Trucking Safety
Hosted annually by the Washington Trucking Associations’ Safety Management Council in partnership with the Washington State Patrol, Day with the Winners is a signature event honoring the best in Washington’s trucking industry. Held each summer, this special recognition breakfast brings together professional drivers, safety professionals, fleet managers, and industry leaders to celebrate the achievements of those who exemplify safety, leadership, and professionalism on and off the road.
The event features the presentation of WTA’s Safety Awards, including Driver of the Year honors, Fleet Safety Awards, Safety Professional, Driver Manager of the Year, and Highway Heroes, as well as recognition of the Washington Truck Driving Championships division winners and Grand Champion. Day with the Winners is more than just an awards ceremony—it’s a gathering that reinforces the industry’s commitment to safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
